Most people already have their New Years Eve planned out, but even fewer have actually made plans on what to wear until now. If you are anything like those people, you are reading this blog in hopes of getting some direction on what to wear for the last day of the year.
Before we venture off into the New Year, we would like to close out this blog with a few of our favorite things from this last year:
Our first pick would have to come from the launch of The Fashion of J Culture. The plaid look of the season came in a time machine from the 1990’s and made its way into the fall/winter wardrobe trends.
Another look in our favorite things would be the men’s trend of December 5ths Oh I Just LOVVVVEEEE A Man In Uniform blog. The military look of this season was ubber haute. This look was sleek and sexy, and it could bend to almost any style of dress. The vintage military jackets were the perfect accent to the Burberry Shearling Aviator Boots.
Last but not least this year for fall/winter fashion weeks, the mens inspired women’s trend became ultra chic. Women took a look into the men’s wardrobe to find inspiration. In turn, the very feminine men’s wear trend became popular. The clothing remained fitted and feminine while the tailored look of a man’s wardrobe was applied.
New Years is a Party, the year’s last celebration. Depending on how late you stay out, The Years First Celebration. You want to end the year off right, and start it off looking your absolute best.
